RICHARD & MARGARET SMITH FUND: Many public school retirees are quick to offer help but hesitate to ask for it themselves. At MARSP, no member faces challenges alone. Through the Smith Fund, the Foundation partners with local chapters to support members in financial hardship. Your gift ensures no member has to choose between filling a prescription or paying a utility bill. SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Today’s public school employees are tomorrow’s retirees! This fund offers professional development scholarships to all public school employees, regardless of their current role, as long as they are advancing their careers in the public school arena. Learn more on the back of this letter.
FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT FUND: The Endowment Fund creates a lasting resource to support MARSP’s mission. Contributions are carefully invested, with only the interest used to fund the Foundation’s initiatives. Every gift helps grow the principal, ensuring sustained support for Michigan’s public school retirees. Consider naming the Endowment Fund in your estate plans to help secure MARSP’s future!
