Annual Golf Outing Supports Scholarships for School Employees
On August 8, MARSP members and friends gathered in Williamston, MI, for a day of golf, camaraderie, and support for the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.

Net proceeds from the annual golf outing support professional development scholarships for current and incoming public school employees. Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available to all public school employees, no matter their current position, as long as they are pursuing career-advancing education opportunities. Scholarship grants are disbursed each July, usually for the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
In 2024, the Foundation awarded 11 scholarships to individuals from various roles in the school district, including a Payroll Specialist, Special Education Teacher, Director of District Compliance, and Behavior Interventionist.
As we approach the 2025 scholarship application season, please share this opportunity with potential applicants and consider contributing to the Scholarship Fund. Together, we will continue enhancing careers and bringing new skills and innovation to Michigan’s classrooms!
