About the State Distinguished Service Award: The annual nominations shall be limited to one per chapter. Nominations for these awards are to be made by a chapter based on the following criteria:

Outstanding service beyond what is usually expected for the local chapter.
Service in one or more capacities on the state level.
Service in community projects in which great amounts of volunteer effort have been expended.
