Spring into success: MARSP is funding classroom projects across Michigan this April!
Teachers plan. MARSP supports. Students benefit.
For the past several years, MARSP has supported Michigan classrooms by funding teacher projects through DonorsChoose.
In 2024, we took that commitment a step further by officially establishing the MARSP DonorsChoose Fund.
This year, we’re inviting public school staff to share their classroom projects by April 17, ahead of our annual $10,000 funding distribution. While we won’t be able to fund every project, setting this timeline ensures we have a strong pool of projects to consider and gives members and chapters a chance to plan how they might support additional classrooms.

Create Your DonorsChoose Classroom Project by April 17, 2026
Teachers, while students are on spring break, we know many of you will be thinking about what your classroom will need once school resumes. MARSP is here to help set your classroom up for success by funding selected DonorsChoose projects this spring.
Important details:
- Projects must be live on DonorsChoose by April 17, 2026 to be considered for MARSP funding.
- MARSP will review and fund selected projects during the week of April 20.
- Creating a project does not guarantee funding.
FOR MEMBERS & SUPPORTERS
SHARE and GIVE
1. Spread the word! If you know an active public school employee, encourage them to submit a project.
2. Contribute to the DonorsChoose Fund. MARSP stands with Michigan’s public school employees not just in retirement, but throughout their careers. Your gifts to the DonorsChoose Fund expand our support.
