OAKLAND – SUBURBAN CHAPTER

General Chapter Information

The Oakland – Suburban Chapter of MARSP has approximately 1,577 members and is located in southeast Michigan.  We have six general membership meetings a year each at a luncheon at Farina’s Banquet Center in Berkley. At each meeting we have a program following lunch which is either related to our benefits, retirement issues, education or entertainment.  We try to have a mix of these each year.

In addition, we have some sort of community outreach program that helps children.  In the past we collected school supplies to provide a tote to those students in need mid-year.  For the past several years we have made our focus collecting funds to donate to the Hunger Free Summer program run by Gleaners to help school children who rely on school meals.
