General Chapter Information

The Oakland-Suburban Chapter of MARSP has approximately 1,577 members and serves southeast Michigan. The chapter holds six general membership meetings each year, with members gathering for lunch at Farina’s Banquet Center in Berkley. Each meeting also features a program focused on benefits, retirement issues, education or entertainment.

The chapter also prioritizes community outreach. In the past, members collected school supplies to create mid-year tote bags for students in need. In recent years, they’ve focused efforts on supporting Gleaners’ Hunger Free Summer program, which helps provide food to children who rely on school meals during the school year.
