The Grand Traverse Area Chapter of MARSP has approximately 655 members and is located in northwestern Michigan.
We hold luncheon meetings twice a year, featuring a program of local interest plus a business meeting providing information that is helpful to our members.
Our chapter features a fall mini-grant program that offers teachers a $150 grant to be used in their classrooms. These grants are given with support of our local TBA Credit Union.

Curious about the new Traverse City Senior Center? Join the Grand Traverse Area MARSP Chapter on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, for a luncheon with speakers Michelle Krumm, Director of the Traverse City Senior Center, and Kelly O’Farrell, Program Specialist. They will share information on the building progress of the new Senior Center and programs for the future.
The luncheon will be held at the Traverse Bay United Methodist Church (former Asbury United Methodist) 1200 Ramsdell St. Traverse City. Doors open at 11:30.
Menu: Sandwiches, salads, chips, beverages, and dessert
Cost: $15. Reservations are requested. Please contact Susan Schmidt at 231-645-0213 or schmidttc@att.net to reserve. Plan to pay for your lunch if you make a reservation.
