Each year, the MARSP Foundation provides scholarships to working members of the retirement system who want to improve their position in the workforce through continuing education.
Any public school employee may apply, no matter their current position, for assistance in advancing their careers in the public school arena. Applicants must report to MPSERS (Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System). The scholarship grants are disbursed in July and typically go towards the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
If you know someone currently working in a public school who could use financial assistance in furthering their education, please share this information with them.
