Lower Level Completion Fund
The unfinished lower level area is currently used for larger MARSP meetings. However, it is difficult to conduct business in a 6,000 square foot open, non-acoustic room.
Some people wonder why the Lower Level Completion Fund is important when there seem to be more important financial concerns. It is similar to any school building expansion or renovation and is the final stage of creating the MARSP Center. The additional work space will be useful in carrying out MARSP’s work for the fine people who have retired from the public school systems.
The completion of the lower level is to be paid strictly through donations from MARSP members, non-members, friends of MARSP, chapters and areas. Contributions may come In Memoriam or as a general contribution, and in any amount. Since this is a designated fund, all contributions must be held in a special account until there is a sufficient balance to finance the construction project. These funds cannot be used for any other purpose.
If you would like to contribute to this important fund, please make your check payable to the MARSP Lower Level Completion Fund.
